As the Minister of Education, there have been great achievements, work has been done to strengthen the government schools of Punjab in all aspects. Government schools have been made smart, infrastructure has been developed, classrooms have been made smart. World-class playgrounds and facilities were provided to take the children forward in sports.

An online transfer policy was introduced for teachers so that the transfer could be done in a completely transparent manner and without any bribery.

As a result of these efforts, the school of Punjab got the first position in the Performance grading index of all India in school education.
