Punjab Congress President Capt Amarinder Singh today emphasized the role of regional leaders in the states and said that lack of a state face was one of the reasons for the defeat of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Punjab Assembly elections. Talking to local media on Sunday after the Congress won a landslide victory in the region, the quiet Capt Amarinder Singh said that it was important to encourage regional leaders to fight the state parties in the states which the people of that state need.
